For the repair or joining of all types of steels, tool steels, cast iron and unknown types of steels. A general purpose maintenance alloy. Outstanding for the removal of broken taps, drills, bolts, etc. A non heat treatable duplex microstructure of ferrite and austenite. Exhibits good corrosion resistance, high notch toughness, high shock impact resistance and is machinable. The deposits have a high level of ferrite (45 FN) and produce tensile strengths of 116,000 psi with 24% elongation
